Rokopol® vTec 8888 is a polyether polyol. It exists as a homogeneous liquid free of mechanical impurities. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It is characterised by high purity and low emission. It has hydroxyl value within the range of 120-140 mgKOH/g, and dynamic viscosity within the range of 300-600 mPas at temp. 25°C.
Rokopol® vTec 8888 is used for production of viscoelastic polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock) and for periodic production (batch). Applied together with appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) it is used to produce blocks of viscoelastic foam with rectangular cross-section and height up to 70 cm.

possibility to obtain open-cell foam on standard silicone,
high purity and low VOC and FOG emission,
possibility to manufacture foams of density within the range of 30-70 kg/m3 and hardness within the range of 1-3kPa,
tear resistance of the foam is above 50kPa and relative elongation at rupture above 60%,
foam recovery time 1-10 s,
insignificant influence of temperature changes between 5-40°C on foam hardness,
hardness increase at temperature 5°C below 50% (as compared to hardness at temperature 23°C),
possibility to manufacture closed- or open-cell foams,
excellent parameters of permanent deformation enabling high foam compression during transport.
