ROKAnol® LP220 (Polyoxyalkylene glycol ether)

ROKAnol LP220 is a non-ionic surfactant of the alkoxylated fatty alcohol type. It has the form of a clear or slightly cloudy liquid with a low coagulation temperature (approx. -12°C) and a bright colour (max. 50 on the Hazen scale). The product has a wide cloud point within the temperature range of 36÷40^oC (in an aqueous solution).

Due to the unique design, the product exhibits very good wetting properties in connection with low-foam properties. Thus, the product is used primarily as an ingredient of formulations used in textile processing processes, in particular, in wet processes. ROKAnol LP220 is compatible with other ingredients of auxiliary formulations, including chelating agents, solvents and alkalis, which facilitates operation by the formulator.The product forms clear water and solvent solutions. With high wetting capabilities, ROKAnol LP220 eliminates excess air from the fabric and increases the efficiency of bleaching agents used in textiles. At the same time, due to low foam-forming properties, it prevents excessive foaming in bleaching baths. Furthermore, ROKAnol LP220 helps to achieve higher hydrophilic properties of fabrics, which translates to better dyeing results. The product is also used as a foaming regulator for other surfactants.ROKAnol LP220 is used as a low-foam surfactant for industrial washing and cleaning and detergents for household detergents, e.g. products for dishwashers. ROKAnol® LP220 causes faster drying of dishes, thus preventing the formation of undesirable stains.ROKAnol LP220 shows slightly better alkali resistance compared to other fatty alcohol alkoxylates. Thanks to such properties, the product is recommended as a component of formulations dedicated to washing bottles and vegetables.
