ROKAdis 900A/25 is an anionic surfactant from the group of phosphoric esters. The commercial product is a clear liquid with a colour in the Hazen scale of up to 250. The active substance content in the commercial product is approximately 25%.
ROKAdis 900A/25 is a surfactant that dissolves very well in water and low aliphatic alcohols. Its density at 25°C is approximately 1.03 g/mL.
The main applications of ROKAdis 900A/25 are industrial emulsion polymerisation processes, in particular the production of acrylic, styrene-acrylic and vinyl acetate copolymer dispersions.
ROKAdis 900A/25, as an anionic emulsifier, ensures adequate dispersion stability and low level of coagulate. Due to its excellent corrosion-inhibiting properties, ROKAdis 900A/25 is especially recommended for the production of dispersions used in anti-corrosion preparations. The product shows very good effectiveness in combination with a suitable non-ionic emulsifier, such as ROKAnol L30/65, ROKAnol IT20/80, IT40/70 or TSP25/80.
ROKAdis 900A/25 is also used as a wetting and dispersing agent in formulations of waterborne paints and varnishes as well as pigment concentrates, in particular inorganic pigments. Due to its anti-corrosion properties, the product is recommended for the production of water-based anti-corrosion paints.
ROKAdis 900A/25 is a product that does not contain ethoxylated nonylphenols. In addition, it is characterized by a very low content of volatile organic compounds (VOC). Recommended use level ranges from 1% to 3% by weight of the active substance based on the weight of the monomer in the emulsion polymerisation process and from 0.1% to 1% in finished paint formulations.
