Roksol PSWN is a non-ionic, low-foaming auxiliary agent used for the treatment of raw materials and products in the textile industry. It is characterized by washing, degreasing, emulsifying, dispersing and moisturizing properties. The product is in the form of a clear or slightly turbid, yellow, oily liquid. The concentration of the product is approximately 98%.
Roksol PSWN dissolves very well even in cold water, which means that it is easily eliminated from the bath in textile processing processes. This non-ionic product significantly reduces the surface tension of the water. This property, combined with good wettability, enables active surface agents to penetrate the textile raw materials, which has a positive effect on the final product's performance.
The use of Roksol PSWN in dyeing and printing processes facilitates the penetration of dyeing agents into the textile raw material. This improves the dyeing effect and the obtained colours. Similar effect is shown in the case of whitening baths and finishing agents.
Roksol PSWN is resistant to hard water. Due to its ionic character, it can be used together with other preparations regardless of their ionicity. Roksol PSWN aqueous solutions have low-foaming properties, which is why its use in many technological processes carried out on various types of apparatus does not cause any disturbances in their operation.
Due to its properties, Roksol PSWN has a wide range of applications in the textile industry. It is mainly used for pre-washing and inter-operational washing. Its use for washing loose fibres, yarns or other products before dyeing, provides the required effects of removing natural fats, greases, sizing as well as oily stains formed during the initial treatment. During washing processes, Roksol PSWN removes unbound dyes, embedded components of the dye bath or printing ink thickeners. Thanks to its low-foaming and wetting properties, the product is also used as a component of bleaching baths, dyeing baths, printing pastes and finishing agents.
