Rofluid M is a new generation admixture, which is a low viscosity yellow to brown aqueous solution of polycarboxylate ether (PCE). PCEs are new generation concrete admixtures, compounds with a specific structure (the so-called comb structure, consisting of a long main chain and side chains with lengths depending on the number of repeating units of ethylene oxide and / or propylene.

Properties and applications
  • increases the compressive strength of concrete (production of high-strength concrete);
  • high performance concrete setting retarder;
  • allows to reduce the amount of batched water (even by 35%) without deteriorating the consistency of the concrete mix;
  • allows for less cement consumption, which reduces costs (while maintaining a constant water / cement ratio);
  • low dosage of 0.4 to 1.5% per mass of the binder (depending on the parameters of the concrete to be produced);
  • can be used at temperatures of up to -5 ° C without inhibiting cement hydration;
  • does not cause corrosion of reinforcing steel (low chloride content).
