Roksol ST7 is an anionic moisturizing and hydrophobizing agent used for greasing chrome and combined tanning leathers, i.e. chrome leathers filled and retanned with synthetic, vegetable, resin or aldehydes. The product is a mixture of compounds containing sulfosuccinate groups, aliphatic hydrocarbons and salts of fatty acids. It is a viscous liquid with a beige colour and a freezing point of -10°C, which means that it does not require special storage and transport conditions. It forms milky emulsions with water.

Properties and applications

Product advantages:

  • moderate equalising effect,
  • resistance to dye and anionic tannin solutions,
  • forms mixtures with anionic and non-ionic lubricants,
  • dissolves in alcohols, hydrocarbons and tetrachloroethylene,
  • resistant to alkalis and salts of monovalent metals,
  • resistance to sunlight,
  • does not excessively brighten the leather dyed with anionic dyes,
  • low solidification point .
