EXOdis PC340 is an anionic wetting and dispersing agent intended for creating water-pigment concentrates. The commercial product is provided in the form of clear light yellow or yellow liquid. The product is available as aqueous solution of concentration of around 38%. The preparation does not contain any volatile organic compounds (“VOCs”) or alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO-free).
The main advantage of EXOdis PC340 is very good stabilization of colourant viscosity in time, even at an elevated temperature. It is particularly noticeable in case of pigment concentrates based on ferrite yellow (pigment PY42). EXOdis PC340 shows good compatibility with widely applied dispersions and rheology agents.
The product is intended for use in water and universal pigment pastes applied in colouring systems, where the viscosity stability is especially important and its absence could lead to wrong paint colour. Colourants containing EXOdis PC340 may be used to colour water and solvent products.
The recommended level of use is 4 ÷ 15% in the non-organic pigment concentrate.
