ROKAnol T25PF is an ethoxylated cetearyl alcohol belonging to the nonionic surfactants group. ROKAnol T25PF meets the restricted quality parameters defined by the Pharmacy Code, collected and published in the latest edition of European Pharmacopoeia. Based on dedicated monograph this product is classified as a Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether. These product is available in solid waxy or flake form. The main application properties describing these product are good dispersing, thickening and solubilising performance.
ROKAnol T25PF, due to the degree of ethoxylation of cetostearyl alcohol, has a strong hydrophilic character, making it ideal for stable oil-in-water (O / W) emulsions. As it has very good emulsifying properties, ROKAnol T25PF can be used in the process of obtaining emulsions at room temperature. This is important when using high temperature sensitive substances that are a common ingredient in many emulsions. Exceptional dispersing and stabilising properties of ROKAnol T25PF makes these product ideal for creating stable formulations in which the active substance is present in solid form, such as in ointments. Good dispersion of the active substance in the product allows it to distribute evenly on the skin. This ability of ROKAnol T25PF is used when creating dressings in the form of a spray.
