ROKAnol® T10PF belongs to the nonionic surfactants group and is an ethoxylated cetearyl alcohol. ROKAnol® T10PF meets the restricted quality parameters defined by the Pharmacy Code, collected and published in the latest edition of European Pharmacopoeia. Based on dedicated monograph this product is classified as a Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether. This product is in the form of a white solid with a waxy consistency. It is characterised by good dispersing, solubilising, and thickening properties.
ROKAnol® T10PF is used as an emulsifier in water-in-oil emulsions (W / O) due to its emulsifying properties. These types of emulsifiers are used for the production of ointments and dermocosmetics, where the water-soluble active substance requires a uniform dispersion in the hydrophobic phase, which is usually the oil base.
The product is covered by the ADR/RID regulations.
