ROKAnol® GA9 is a nonionic surfactant that belongs to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols. The product co-creates a group of surfactants based on C10 Guerbet alcohol. The commercial product contains more than 99% of the active substance. Its cloud point is determined for 1% ROKAnol® GA9 solution in water and it ranges from 67-70°C.
At room temperature, the product is a paste or a cloudy liquid. At 50°C it takes on a bright colour (maximum 50 on the Hazen scale), while it solidifies at a temperature of about 20°C.
ROKAnol® GA9 exhibits a very high resistance to both acids and alkali. In addition, it is characterised by low foaming capacity, good solubility in water and short-chain alcohols, such as methanol. It works perfectly in reducing and oxidizing environments, acid and neutral baths and in diluted alkalis as well as in hard and cold water.
The product can be used in mixtures with other nonionic and ionic surfactants. It exhibits very good degreasing properties from metal surfaces by both dynamic and static methods. For this reason, it can be successfully used as a component of cleaning formulations, improving the stability of the formulation and increasing its efficiency and effectiveness.
ROKAnol® GA9 can be used in professional cleaning agents, specialist acidic formulations as well as in metal cleaning agents. Product has the ability to very well clean hard surfaces and fabric EMPA 125.
ROKAnol® GA9 is used as an ingredient in cleaning agents, detergents, products used in the textile and agrochemical industry and as an emulsifier in industrial applications. In addition, like all the ROKAnol® GA series, the product has dispersing capabilities.
ROKAnol® GA9 is a biodegradable product in the natural environment and meets the criteria of the directive on detergents.
