Active Play AS H 8005 is a one-component polyurethane adhesive based on MDI mixture with low functionality (2.0 - 2.2). It exists in form of a colorless to yellow liquid. It is characterized by viscosity of 1500-3750 mPas at temp. 25°C, with the content of NCO groups between 9.0-11.0%. It is used to make elements from rubber granules, among others SBR and EPDM, cold-formed and hot-formed.
Active Play AS H 8005 is a joint in various recycling processes, e.g. used to join various kinds of fragmented materials, such as: rubber - SBR, EPDM, flexible polyurethane foams, EVA, cork and gravel. Process of re-joining of the rubber granulate is used mainly in production of mats or of formed items, such as: safety plates, base mats, accessories for road building and sound and vibration insulating mats. Adhesive hardening process is performed at various temperatures, i.e. from 70°C to 150°C. The choice of temperature and humidity depends on the applied technology and allows, among other things to reduce the time of hardening/polymerization.
Active Play AS H 8005 is safe for the environment. It contains no harmful organic solvents or chlorinated paraffins.
Advantages of product application:
easy to apply adhesive for joining rubber granules,
broad range of applications of the adhesive owing to a possibility to process the adhesive both in hot and cold processes,
high resistance to temperature - in production of formable elements temperatures in the range from 70°C to 150°C can be applied,
higher humidity allows shortening of the hardening process of a surface or element.
