EXOdis PC440 is a non-ionic wetting and dispersing agent intended for making water pigment concentrates. It is supplied in the form of clear yellow liquid. The commercial product is available as aqueous solution of concentration of around 90%. The preparation does not contain any alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO-free).
EXOdis PC440 is very efficient at preventing flocculation of pigment particles. The product significantly lowers the viscosity of pigment concentrates, allowing to obtain a high load of pigment with low viscosity.
EXOdis PC440 is intended for stabilizing mainly organic pigments and carbon black. It may be used in water colourants with high pigment concentration. Furthermore, it is also applied as an agent improving compatibility of waterborne paints coloured by organic pigment concentrates.
EXOdis PC440 is not classified as a hazardous product. Thanks to low content of volatile organic compounds (“VOC”), the product may be used to produce eco-friendly paints, also certified with the Ecolabel or Blue Angel marks.
The recommended level of use is 5 ÷ 25% in the pigment concentrate and 0.1-1% in the finished product formula.
