EXOcon GPD is a specialist anionic surfactant intended for the production of gypsum plasterboards. EXOcon GPD is an alkyl ether sulphate sodium salt with 31% active substance. It is produced in the form of clear liquid, with low content of non-sulphated substances and clearly defined viscosity.
EXOcon GPD has strong foam formation properties, allowing to create high foams stable over time, even in hard water. Due to its unique foaming properties, the product is used to generate foam in the construction industry, mainly to produce gypsum plasterboards using stable foam technology. The foam obtained from the product has a high level of hydration (i.e. wet foam), making it suitable for the production of light and durable gypsum materials. The product facilitates the introduction of fine air bubbles into the gypsum suspension, throughout the entire volume of the gypsum core, without any significant impact on adhesion to the board’s cover.
