ROKAnol® LP1319 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants (alkoxylated fatty alcohols). The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, forming a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly reduced foam formation, which at the same time maintain the application parameters. These are mainly detergents for the household, industrial and institutional cleaning, as well as other industrial processes.
This product is a clear liquid which, due to its hydrophobic properties, is poorly soluble in water, but very well soluble in low aliphatic alcohols. Additionally, its cloud point is within 13-19°C for the butyl diglycol solution (16.7%). In addition, a concentrated form (active substance content of approx. 100%) and a low freezing point (below -20°C) facilitate the transport and storage of this product.
Rokanol® LP1319 can be used mainly as a foam-reducing and deaerating agent in industrial processes, especiallycellulose and paper processing. May be used in combination with other non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants. To simplify its application, this product is often used in the form of an aqueous emulsion, however, an additional emulsifier must be present. This product can also be used as a solution containing organic solvents or solubilizers. An important feature of Rokanol® LP1319 is that with a very high foam removal capacity, it does not contain silicones and it is not a hazardous substance.
