Rokanate M PE 0601 iis a prepolymer based on MDI mixture with low functionality (2.0-2.2). It occurs as a light yellow to amber liquid. It is characterized by viscosity of 450-900 mPas at temp. 25°C, with the content of NCO groups between 5.0-6.5%.

Rokanate M PE 0601 is dedicated to the manufacture of regenerated foam blocks.

Properties and applications

 Product properties:

  • it provides high elasticity of rebond foam joint, 
  • it does not contain plasticizers from the SVHC group,
  • it does not contain organic solvents,
  • it allows to obtain foam blocks with very low hardness and high flexibility of the final product.

Application:

  • secondary foam, rebond - used in various industries: in construction - for the production of underlay for panels, carpets, thermal insulation, acoustic insulation in apartments, houses, recording studios. In the automotive industry for soundproofing of cars, floors, door panels, engine compartment baffles, dashboards), thermal insulation. In sports for the manufacture of mattresses, sports mats and flexible floors. In the furniture industry for the production of upholstered inserts (seats, backrests, armrests, headrests), mattresses, specialty cushions). In horticulture for the production of mats for growing plants and as cushioning pads in transportation,
  • the product is intended only for use in industrial installations or professional activities.
