Rokester 1600 is a polyester polyol. It exists in the form of homogeneous, colourless to straw-coloured liquid. It has hydroxyl value within the range of 150-170 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity within the range of 1000-3000 mPas at temp. 25°C. It is characterised by low reactivity.
Rokester 1600 is a specialised aliphatic-aromatic polyester polyol. It is used mainly as a polyol component in production of one-component foams (OCF). Owing to very low reactivity and relatively low hydroxyl value it is possible to increase significantly the content of this polyol in a formulation. It significantly improves flame retardant properties of the foam and allows to obtain classification "B2". In selected formulations it causes noticeable increase in efficiency of the foam in the can. This product can also be used in a mixture with more reactive polyester polyols. The product is mixed in any proportion with chlorinated paraffins 45 and 52 (most frequently used fillers in the sector of one-component foams (OCF)).
