Rokester 1711 is a polyester polyol. It comes in the form of a viscous liquid. It has hydroxyl value within the range of 185-195 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity within the range of 2500-3500 mPas at temp. 25°C. It is characterised by very low reactivity.
Rokester 1711 is a specialised aliphatic-aromatic polyester polyol. It is used mainly as a polyol component in production of one-component foams (OCF). Owing to very low reactivity and relatively low hydroxyl value it is possible to increase significantly the content of this polyol in a formulation. It significantly improves flame retardant properties of the foam and allows to obtain classification "B2". This product can also be used in a mixture with more reactive polyester polyols. The product is mixed in any proportion with chlorinated paraffins 45 and 52 (most frequently used fillers in the sector of one-component foams (OCF)).
PCC Rokita SA is one of the largest chemical companies in Poland as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Its activity includes the production of chloroalkali, polyether polyols, polyalkylene glycols and phosphorus derivatives.
