EKOPRODUR BF5032 “40” is a two-component closed-cell polyurethane system used to produce rigid foam. EKOPRODUR BF5032 “40” does not contain ozone-depleting foaming agents in accordance with European Union legislation on the marketing and use of controlled substances — Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009.
EKOPRODUR BF5032 “40” is used for the production of thermal insulation rigid foam in the form of blocks, as well as for filling large constructional spaces. Ekoprodur BF5032 “40” can be processed with low- and high-pressure foaming machines. The polyol mixture of EKOPRODUR BF5032 “40” has a form of an oily liquid with viscosity in the range of 800-1000 mPas (20 °C) and density of 1.12–1.16 g/cm3 (20 °C). The second component (ISO component) is brown liquid being a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanates.
After seasoning, the polyurethane blocks produced from the BF5032 “40” system are cut into boards of a certain thickness. They are commonly used, among others, for insulation of residential and industrial buildings, cold storage facilities both mobile and stationary as well as for as cores of sandwich panels.
