EXOemul OM4 is a mixture of non-ionic surfactants with emulsifying properties and excellent solubility in mineral oils. The mixture emulsifies products based on paraffin oil (SN100, SN150) and silicone oil. EXOemul OM4 is a clear liquid of a bright to dark-yellow colour.
Its freezing point is approx. -20°C, which makes the product easier to use in preparations for various industries, such as metalworking or lubricant production. The product can also be easily transported and stored. This property also allows you to take full advantage of the application capabilities of the product.
The use EXOemul OM4 reduces interfacial tension, which enables the oil phase to be dispersed in the water phase. The product additionally improves the compatibility of other ingredients in the water phase. Owing to its outstanding properties, the product causes electrostatic and steric stabilisation, thus preventing coalescence or flocculation.
EXOemul OM4 is safe for the aquatic environment and, importantly, does not contain nonylphenol. It is particularly good in agrochemical applications as an emulsifier used for producing adjuvants (tank mix) based on mineral oils and their derivatives, as well as in the metalworking industry as an emulsifier for a paraffin base. In the autocare industry, EXOemul OM4 can be used as an emulsifier for silicone oil in preparations for the hydrophobization of car body surfaces or leather upholstery.
