Diethanolamine W is a product with a wide range of industrial applications. It can be used as an intermediate product for chemical synthesis. Due to its alkaline nature, the product is also used to neutralise acidic substances and as a pH regulator. This property is used, among other things, in the production of metalworking fluids, detergents, washing agents, cleaning agents and automotive chemicals. As an ingredient of cleaning and washing agents, Diethanolamine W helps to remove dirt. In the agrochemical industry it is used as an emulsifier and dispersant. In metalworking processes it is additionally used in the stamping and casting stages as a corrosion inhibitor. It is also a component of lubricants used in the textile industry.
Diethanoalamine W is also used in the construction industry as an additive to PUR foams and can also be used in the mining industry to remove hydrogen sulphide from natural gas during the so-called sweetening process.
