SULFOROKAnol D232P MB belongs to the group of specialist anionic surfactants. The product is based on natural raw material and it is the sodium salt of ethoxylic sulphate. It is offered as an approximately 32% low viscosity aqueous solution, colourless to light yellow. The product is extremely soluble in water.
The product shows excellent foaming properties, creating high and stable foams, even in hard water. Foams obtained from SULFOROKAnol D232P MB are characterized by a high degree of hydration (so-called wet foam) and a small diameter of bubbles (fine foam). SULFOROKAnol D232P MB also has a low tendency to gel in electrolyte solutions, which eliminates problems related to the local increase in viscosity, occurring, for example, in dosing systems.
SULFOROKAnol D232P MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model(www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the basic raw material included in the SULFOROKAnol D232P MB product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural values. At the same time, its production respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
Due to its unique foam-forming properties, the product is mainly used as an air-entraining agent in the construction industry, mainly in the production of drywall. Thanks to its properties, it is possible to manufacture lightweight, durable materials. Its use provides the introduction of air bubbles into gypsum without affecting the adhesion to the outer coating of the board. In the construction industry, SULFOROKAnol D232P MB is also used as an air-entraining agent in admixtures for concrete or masonry mortars. By introducing air into the concrete mix, the product plasticizes it and increases the frost resistance of the material.
SULFOROKAnol D232P MB is also used as a component of synthetic extinguishing media, where it is the basic foam-forming agent. In this application it can be mixed with other surfactants offered by the PCC Group.
Due to its ionic nature, this product works well in formulations with anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, as well as other ingredients.
The surfactant complies with the biodegradability criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
Sodium salt of ethoxylated and sulphated decyl alcohol, Poly (oxy-1, 2-ethanediyl), alpha.-sulfo-omega.-hydroxy-, C10-12-alkyl ethers, sodium salts, ethoxylated sodium decyl sulfate.
