ROKAnol L5P5 MB belongs to the group of nonionic surfactants of the type of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product is based on raw material of natural origin. The product has the form of a clear or slightly turbid liquid with a low freezing point, approx. -9°C and light colour, max. 100 on the Hazen scale.
ROKAnol L5P5 MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model(www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the basic raw material included in the ROKAnol L5P5 MB product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural values. At the same time, its production respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
The product has a cloud point in water in the range of 27-31°C. The low level of cloud point in aqueous solutions allows the use of the product at temperatures close to room temperature or slightly higher.
ROKAnol L5P5 MB is one of the best wetting agents with high detergency properties for broadly understood household cleaning and professional cleaning, where low foaming capacity is required. This product has cleaning properties at the level of widely used lauryl alcohol ethoxylates, but it is characterized by several times lower foaming capacity. Therefore, along with ROKAnol L4P5, ROKAnol L5P5 MB is one of the most universal low-foaming surfactants on offer. Low-foaming properties are significantly reduced after exceeding the cloud point in water, which positively affects the performance of the product.
The product is used in additives for the textile industry, mainly in bleaching agents for textiles. The product combines two basic advantages: excellent wettability on different types of fabrics and high capacity to remove stains from textile materials.
Excellent wetting properties of the product, combined with a low cloud point, are also used in professional detergents intended for dishwashers. ROKAnol L5P5 MB, by lowering the contact angle on hard surfaces, causes faster drying of the dishes, thus preventing the formation of stains. The product can also act as a solubilizer in cosmetic formulations, i.e. in after-sun products, antiperspirants, in shower gels, in body care cosmetics, coloured cosmetics and in hair styling products.
ADR/RID, ADN, IMDG, ICAO/IATA transport regulations do not apply to the transport of this product.
The surfactant complies with the biodegradability criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
