ROKAnol® GT7 belongs to non-ionic surfactants from the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with a C9 - C16. chain length. The product belongs to the ROKAnol GT® series. It contains about 99% of the active substance. At room temperature, it appears as a clear or cloudy liquid with a tendency to sedimentation during storage. It solidifies at a temperature of about 10°C, while at a temperature of 50°C it exhibits a light colour, i.e. a maximum of 100 on the Hazen scale. Due to its special properties, it is perfect as a substitute for ethoxylates based on C13 alcohol.
Compared to other ROKAnol® GT series, the product is moderately hydrophilic and has a high cloud point value at the temperature level of 65 ÷ 70°C (for butyldiglycol solution). Due to its limited water solubility, it forms cloudy solutions when combined with water. In addition, ROKAnol® GT7 can be used in the environment of oxidizing and reducing agents and in the presence of hard water. It is active in cold water, acidic and neutral baths, as well as in diluted alkalis.
ROKAnol® GT7 is perfect in combination with other non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants. The product stands out from other ROKAnol® GT series with excellent parameters, i.e. short fabric wetting time, and at the same time relatively low foaming.
The product is also characterized by very good detergent properties, thanks to which ROKAnol® GT7 is a perfect ingredient of all types of cleaning formulations. This includes household products as well as products for industrial and institutional use. ROKAnol® GT7 can also be used in professional preparations for removing bituminous masses from construction equipment.
Its excellent wettability, for example of cotton, allows it to be used in the bleaching of fibers. ROKAnol® GT7 allows you to increase the efficiency of this process. Additionally, it increases the dye's absorption into the structure of the textile material during the next stage, i.e. dyeing. Due to its high wetting abilities, the product can be used in the textile industry as a component of a cotton bleaching formulation. Thanks to its properties, ROKAnol® GT7 is also used in car cleaning products as a wetting agent.
ROKAnol® GT7 is a very easily biodegradable product.
