SULFOBURSZTYNIAN DOSS50BGE is an anionic surfactant in the form of 50% butylglykol/ethanol solvent system. The product can be used as a wetting agent for colour and colourless varnishes, enamels and low PVC products.
SULFOBURSZTYNIAN DOSS50BGE is an alternative to fluorine surfactants and silicone surfactants. Furthermore, it contains no ethoxylated nonylphenols. Due to its unique design, the product is characterised by a strong tendency to reduce the surface and interface tension already at low concentrations. Thus, the product is particularly recommended as a substrate wettability enhancer during the application of a coating of the given paint product. During the formation of the paint coating, the agent prevents surface defects, such as “fish eyes” or “craters”, which result from deteriorated levelling of the paint or varnish. The use of SULFOBURSZTYNIANIAN DOSS50BGE enables efficient covering with varnish or paint, even of difficult to wet or contaminated surfaces. After the coating formation, the product ensures proper adhesion to the substrate and facilitates the application of subsequent layers of the paint product.
SULFOBURSZTYNIAN DOSS50BGE can also be used as a dispersing and wetting agent in the production of colourants, in particular, inorganic pigment concentrates. The product is compatible with most water-soluble polymer dispersions and solvent-based (alkyd-based) resins, which enables application in a universal colouring system.
Recommended 0.2-1% application as substrate wettability enhancer and 1-10% application in colouring paste production.
