ROKAnol® LP60 is a non-ionic surfactant of the alkoxylated fatty alcohol type. The product belongs to the ROKAnol® LP series, forming a large group of low-foam products dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with noticeably reduced foaming, while maintaining application parameters. These are mainly detergents for household, institutional and industrial washing, as well as other industrial processes.
The product has the form of a clear liquid with a coagulation temperature of below -20°C and active substance content of approx. 100%. The product is not highly soluble in water, and it has a cloud point in butyldiglykol solutions in the range of approx. 14-18°C (for the solution with 10% concentration).
It is used primarily as an anti-foam agent in washing and cleaning products, which can be applied in industrial processes. Its hydrophobic character causes product migration to the liquid surface. Due to its properties, ROKAnol LP60 reduces the surface tension between the liquid and air. At the same time, it improves the “drainage” of foam, thus reducing it. It can be used in all applications, in which the use of silicone skimmers is not recommended.
