ROKAnol MT7 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with a carbon chain length of C8-C18. The product is in the form of a liquid with a colour of max. 150 Hazen at 40°C. ROKAnol MT7 is well soluble in water. The HLB parameter value for this product is approximately 13. The commercial product contains over 99% of the active substance and solidifies at a temperature of approx. 15°C. ROKAnol MT7, thanks to its very good detergent, wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties, is used as a basic surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, household and technical cleaning products and hand cleaners.
The products can be used in the environment of oxidising and reducing agents, as well as hard water. It is active in cold water, in acidic, neutral and diluted alkaline baths. ROKAnol MT7 can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliaries and with anionic and cationic surfactants. In a mixture with alkyl sulphates and alkyl aryl sulfonates, it has a synergistic washing and cleaning effect.
ROKAnol MT7 is also used in the processes of pre-treatment of fibres as a component of the formulation that removes oil stains (mineral oils) from fabric/knits, which are the result of industrial knitting and weaving processes. Due to the wetting properties of cotton fabric, it can be used as a component of the bleaching composition for raw knits and cotton fabrics. It is also used in the final stage of the dyeing process of textiles as one of the components removing excess dyes from the bath. ROKAnol MT7 can also be used in preparations for removing street film and other formulations for car care products.
ROKAnol MT7 is biodegradable in the natural environment.
