ROKAnol LP180 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, forming a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly reduced foaming while maintaining application parameters. These are mainly household, institutional and industrial cleaning, as well as other industrial processes detergents.
The product is in the form of a liquid with a low freezing point, i.e. below -20°C, with an active substance content of approximately 99%. The product is soluble in water at low temperature and has a cloud point in butyl diglycol solutions in the range (32–35)°C (for a solution with a concentration of 16.7%). The product also shows a cloud point in an aqueous solution of about 17°C.
ROKAnol LP180 is characterised by a particularly excellent anti-foam effect in a wide temperature range. For this reason, it is used in detergents for institutional washing, auxiliaries in the textile industry, as well as in dishwasher detergents. When it comes to dishwashers, the main requirement for the low-foaming and wetting surfactants used is optimal foam suppression during the washing and rinsing process without leaving streaks, thanks to which the articles have the required gloss.
The product is biodegradable and complies with the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
