EXOfos PB-253 is anionic surfactant classified among phosphate esters. This ester is based on ethoxylated alcohol with a C12-C15 chain and it is offered in acidic form. It has liquid form. This ester is characterised by the acid value to the first contraflexure point in the range from 95 to 115 mg KOH/g, second contraflexure point from 135 to 175 mg KOH/g and phosphorus content up to 6%. This product is poorly water soluble and its coagulation temperature is approx. 6°C.
EXOfos PB-235 exhibits a variety of properties, including primary lubricating and wetting properties; it is often used in solvent-based and semi-synthetic fluid applications. The product is resistant to alkaline environments and dissolves in i.a. rapeseed oil, rapeseed oil methyl esters, methanol, acetone and gasoline.
