ROKAnol LP42 is a non-ionic surfactant classified in the group of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. It is a high molecular weight polymer based on alcohol of plant origin with a chain length of C16-18. The product has a liquid form, with a colour up to 70 on the Hazen scale. ROKAnol LP42 contains about 100% of the active substance. It does not dissolve in water, but it dissolves very well in lower aliphatic alcohols, rapeseed and mineral oil. The cloud point of the ROKAnol LP42 is in the range between 44-46°C determined for a 16.7% solution concentration in a 25% solution of butyl diglycol.
This non-ionic surfactant with low-foaming properties is mainly used as a biodegradable emulsifier in metal processing liquids, and as a lubricity enhancer. It is characterised by low foaming profile and is highly compatible with anionic and other non-ionic formulation ingredients.
It can be used in soluble oils and semi-synthetic emulsions for metal processing and rolling, as well as in fireproof hydraulic liquids. It is used in auxiliary textile agents and industrial and institutional detergents. It can also be used as a co-surfactant and in multiple other technical applications where a low foaming surfactant is required.
Biodegradable product, not classified according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 [CLP/GHS].
