Roksapian L2 is a specially composed mixture of surfactants, which constitutes a raw material for the manufacture of formation water foaming plugs.
The product has the form of hard wax in cream to beige colour. Its density at 50oC is about 1.01.
The crystallisation temperature is in the range of 43–48⁰C, which enables easy formation in the plug form.
Dissolves in hot water very well. pH 1% of the solution varies between 5-7.
Roksapian L2 is characterised by a very high ignition temperature, above 200⁰C. Thanks to this property the product can be safely used in underground mine workings.
The appropriately components of this product ensure efficient and gradual release of active substances from the candles. This guarantees very good foam forming properties in the conditions of action with formation waters in low temperatures.
The product dissolves very well in water at higher temperature, whereas in lower temperatures its solubility is low.
