ROKAmina K45HC is a very high purity amphoteric surfactant from the betaine group. Its INCI name is: Cocamidopropyl Betaine. At room temperature it is a pale yellow liquid (max. 150 on the Hazen scale).
The commercial product is an aqueous solution with an active substance content of about 40%. ROKAmina K45HC is a more concentrated form of ROKAmina K30. The higher concentration of the product in the solution is more economical during transport and storage.
ROKAmina K45HC is a highly effective surfactant used as an ingredient in cosmetic cleansers that remove impurities from the surface of the skin and hair. It has very good foaming properties in a wide range of pH and water hardness.
In combination with anionic surfactants (SLS, SLES, ABSNa), it positively, synergistically increases the foam volume. Another of its advantages is improving preparation stability.
ROKAmina K45HC effectively modifies the rheology of preparations containing anionic surfactants in the presence of electrolytes. The product has great stability in solutions with a high degree of salinity.
Thanks to these properties, it effectively reduces the use of surfactants in final formulations.
Moreover, ROKAmina K45HC significantly softens and smooths the skin and hair. At the same time, it reduces skin irritation caused by some anionic surfactants.
Another advantage of ROKAmina K45HC is its very good anti-static properties. The product significantly reduces static charge, making the hair static-free, smooth and pleasant to the touch.
BIO ROKAmina K40HC is an amphoteric surfactant which can also be used as a hydrotrope, i.e. a substance that improves the clarity of formulations (e.g. cosmetics). The product is a perfect ingredient of cosmetics from the group of personal hygiene products.
It significantly reduces irritating and sensitising properties compared to standard substances used in the production of various types of cosmetics.
ROKAmina K40HC also has stabilising properties. As a foam stabiliser, it is an effective component in the production of car shampoos.
The high biodegradability of the product makes ROKAmina K45 MB safe for the natural environment. It can be safely used in products such as Eco, Organic, Vegan, Paraben Free, GMO Free.
The surfactant complies with the biodegradability criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
Furthermore, ROKAmina K45HC is used as an ingredient in All Purpose Cleaning (APC)preparations. It is an excellent ingredient in household spray cleaning detergents.
The product is especially recommended for glass and glossy surfaces, as it tends to leave fewer streaks. This feature is extremely desirable when cleaning black or stainless steel surfacesand appliances (worktops, metal or ceramic sinks, chrome plated fixtures, polished stone countertops, glass and mirrors).
The surfactant is compliant with the criteria on biological decomposition set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
