Rokochem 2206 is water insoluble, has high viscosity index ~175, high flash point >200°C and low melting point <-38°C, which allows good properties over a wide temperature spectrum. It can be used as a base oil of the PAG type included in group V to manufacture synthetic lubricants, and also as a finished product.
Rokochem 2206 is a product from a series of synthetic polyethers used as a base oil with a dynamic viscosity at 25°C in range of 35 to 45 cPas, or a kinematic viscosity at 40°C about 22 cSt. Based on selective technology, we obtain products with high purity and narrow molecular weight distribution, meeting the highest market requirements. Unique properties are due to the designed chemical structure, so the product can also be used as an intermediate for further syntheses.
