EXOpearl SF is a SLES-free blend of non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants with the INCI name: Glycol Distearate (and) Laureth-4 (and) Cocamidopropyl Betaine. At room temperature (20÷25°C) the product is in the form of an opaque, white, homogeneous liquid.The product solidifies at about -2°C. In combination with water, it creates a milky dispersion with a visible pearl effect.It contains about 0.3% of a preservative in the form of formic acid.
EXOpearl SF is primarily used as a pearling agent in the production of personal care cosmetics. It is most often used as an ingredient creating a pearl effect in shampoos, washing products, bath liquids and other liquid cosmetic preparations. It is also a pearlising additive for cleaning and washing detergents.
EXOpearl SF is a mixture fully compatible with other types of surfactants. It perfectly interacts with anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric compounds. The special composition of the formulation makes the product easy to use and convenient to dose.
EXOpearl SF can be freely used in cosmetics, when the main aspect is to obtain a beautiful, pearly effect.
The product complies with the biodegradability criteria as set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
