Si-PolyU 4020 is a moderately viscous, low-polar, silane-modified polymer that was developed for the formulation of solvent- and isocyanate-free elastic adhesives and sealants. The polymer backbone is based on polypropylene glycol terminated with trimethoxysilyl groups.

The polymer is moisture curing at ambient temperature and can therefore be formulated as one or two component systems. Formulations based on this polymer show good adhesion to a large number of substrates, eliminating the need for time-consuming substrate pre-treatment or the use of primers.
