EXOdis PC800 is a specialised mixture of surfactants. With its well-designed composition, the product shows very good dispersing and wetting properties. At 20 to 25°C, EXOdis PC800 exists as a brown-coloured liquid with a characteristic odour.
EXOdis PC800 is partly based on raw materials of natural origin. This makes it particularly recommended for the production of ecological paints and varnishes. Its recommended use level is 5.0 to 25.0% in pigment concentrates or 0.1 to 1.0% in ready-to-use paint formulations.
EXOdis PC800 is a universal dispersing and wetting agent with a very good affinity for both organic and inorganic pigments.
It is used principally in the production of universal water-dilutable pigment concentrates, i.e. those used for tinting both water-based and solvent-based paints. During dispersion, the product effectively wets and deflocculates the pigment, which results in a significant reduction in the viscosity of the pigment suspension and allows for obtaining an optimum pigment concentration.
EXOdis PC800 ensures excellent stability of the pigment, whether in a concentrate or in a ready-to-use tinted paint product. As it is highly compatible with water-based and solvent-based paints, it helps obtain the appropriate tinting strength and compatibility of the pigment in the paint.
EXOdis PC800 is also used as a component in the production of ready-to-use paint formulations. The product shows an excellent synergy with commonly used dispersants, such as polyacrylate-based products.
In addition, EXOdis PC800 can be used as a post-additive for enhancing the compatibility of pigments in a paint.
The product is not subject to ADR/RID regulations.
