EXOwet OS is a mixture of chemical compounds which is an effective wettability enhancer for cement grains, used during the manufacture of cement mortars and concrete. It is an anionic compound, which is a colourless to pale yellow liquid with a pH ranging from 5 to 8. The product solidifies below -20°C.
EXOwet OS is a very good alternative to previous generation compounds that contained ethoxylated alkylphenols.
The product is one of the most effective wetting agents on the market. Its very important feature is its full compatibility with most of the available concrete admixtures. It exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with superplasticisers, improving the liquefaction efficiency and significantly increasing the final strength of the concrete. Combined with air-entraining admixtures, it improves the spacing factor in hardened concrete.
ADR/RID, ADN, IMDG and ICAO/IATA regulations on transport do not apply to the shipments of this product.
