The Crossin® Hard 36 system is used for the production of rigid (hard) foam, which is also a spray thermal insulation applied directly to the insulated roof surface, attic (both from the inside and outside) and the ceiling regardless of the building material used.
Crossin® Hard 36 is a two-component spray polyurethane system used for the production of closed-cell rigid foam with self-extinguishing properties. The system consists of the polyol part (component A) and the isocyanate part (component B). Each of the ingredients is a viscous liquid and has different parameters. Component A with a higher viscosity is dark, while component B with higher density is brown. Both components are free of solid suspension. In addition, the system is distinguished by a reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), as it does not contain foaming agents that significantly deplete the ozone layer - according to European Union regulations, Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of 16.IX.2009.
Service with Crossin® systems is offered only through Authorized Contractors, and the products themselves are not offered for sale to others. For a free consultation and insulation quote, simply leave your information via the contact form. Our specialists will offer a convenient date for a visit and conversation and will quote for the service.
As a result of the combination and thorough mixing of both components, rigid (hard) foam is obtained. It is recommended to process the system only with the use of professional high-pressure foaming units equipped with a foaming head. This product is a unique system designed for the production of high-quality thermal insulation, applied in both residential, commercial, as well as industrial and agricultural buildings. The system is characterised by increased flammability parameters (class E) and stable physico-mechanical parameters. Due to the appropriate thickness of the insulating layer (at least two uniform layers, which in total give a thickness of not less than 30 mm), the roof, attic or ceiling surface is jointless, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of the entire building. Keep in mind that you must not exceed the recommended thickness of the total insulation (its maximum thickness is 35 mm).
If the foam is exposed to direct UV radiation (sunlight), it should be protected, e.g. by at least two layers of protective paint (in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations), and, if necessary, by appropriate waterproofing.
Crossin® Hard 36 was introduced for sale on the basis of CPR Regulation No. 305/2011 together with the assessment of performance carried out by the Building Research Institute (ITB) in accordance with the European harmonized standard PN-EN 14315-1. The product has the PZH hygienic certificate, as well as CE marking confirmed by the Declaration of Performance issued for this product.
Main application advantages of the product:
Applicability directly onto the insulated surface made of most commercially available construction materials;
External thermal insulation with a wide application range (insulation of roofs, attics and ceilings in residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings, both modernized and newly erected);
Extremely durable and light insulation allows individual insulation thickness to be chosen without overloading the building structure;
Low heat transfer coefficient allows the thickness of insulating material to be reduced even by half in relation to the classic insulation materials;
Possibility of obtaining jointless insulation, without thermal bridges or air gaps responsible for heat losses;
The ability to isolate hard-to-reach places with full insulation tightness guarantee;
Speed of execution and versatile technique of applying insulation;
Thermal insulation with high resistance to moisture and wind protects the insulated object against mould and fungi;

In order for polyurethane insulation to retain its properties over time, it is important to clean the insulated surface before spraying. It is also worth protecting the room and the immediate surroundings from possible dirt.
