EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is a mixture of chemical compounds with the INCI name: Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth‑18. The commercial product is available as a white or creamy, waxy solid in the form of flakes.
EXOcare TEW Flakes MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the basic raw material included in the EXOcare TEW Flakes MB product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural values. At the same time, its production respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is used in the cosmetics industry, mainly as an ingredient of personal care cosmetics. It is perfect as an effective emulsifier and conditioner in cosmetics for washing and care of skin and hair.
In a formulation, it serves as an emulsifying base, especially in oil-in-water (O/W) preparations. It has high stability in a wide range of pH. It can be used as a primary or secondary emulsifier in the production of a wide range of balms, creams and pastes.
Its undoubted advantage is the ability to reduce the drying effect of anionic surfactants contained in a formulation. Thanks to its properties, it leaves the skin moisturized and covered with a delicate protective film.
EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is also used as an effective stabilizer and rheology modifier. It effectively improves the distribution of the preparation, provides the glide and can support the foaming process.
EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is a safe product. It has a mild effect on the skin, causing no irritation or allergic reactions. It can be used with other non-ionic surfactants and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants.
The product is classified according to Regulation (WE) No. 1272/2008 [CLP/GHS].
