EXOstat 1900 is a product containing specially selected surfactants for industrial applications, which form a mixture of compounds dedicated to the processing of plastics. The additive provides excellent surface resistance and antifogging properties to films made from various polymers. Particularly effective for PET-based films, but also GPPS and HIPS. Due to its liquid form, the additive is also successfully used in the production of specialised masterbatches dedicated to the production of PET products.
EXOstat 1900 can be used in concentrations ranging from 0.5% to 3.0%, depending on the desired functionality, processing conditions or processing limitations. The active ingredients have US-Food and Drug Administration (US-FDA) approvals listed in the following sections: 21 CFR 178.3400, 21 CFR 184.1323.
At ambient temperature, the product is a highly viscous liquid or paste. Slight turbidity and a small amount of sediment may occur naturally. The colour of the product is a maximum of 6 on the Gardner scale, measured at 40°C. EXOstat 1900 is a product that is safe for the environment and for human health and life. It is unclassified (no pictograms) according to the CLP Regulation.
