Roksol EMB2 is a mineral oil emulsifier used in the metallurgical industry. The product is a complex mixture of surfactants and functional additives improving lubricating properties. Does not contain nitrites, phenols, DEA, chlorine or boron compounds harmful to health. The product is a clear liquid mixture with a viscous oil consistency and a light to dark brown colour.
It has a limited solubility in water, forming cloudy solutions. Roksol EMB2 dissolves well in water and in low aliphatic alcohols, acetone and benzene. The solidification point of Roksol EMB2 is approximately 0˚C.
The product has lubricating properties and is therefore successfully used in the metallurgical industry as a component of high-oil cooling and lubricating concentrates. Unique composition of surfactants and carefully selected functional additives guarantee improvement of lubricating, anticorrosive and anti-foaming properties of the finished product.
Concentrate in the form of a cooling and lubricating aqueous emulsion is used in various machining operations for steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals and their alloys. In addition, it can be used in anti-adhesion formulations as a component of mineral oil-based anti-adhesion compositions.
PCC EXOL SA is one of the most important manufacturers of surfactants and chemical formulations in Central and Eastern Europe. The company offers surfactants, specialist additives and chemical formulations for many branches of industry.
