Rokolub® 220VI is used as a base oil or additive for formulations of lubricants. It is partially soluble in water. Product viscosity class according to ISO VG is 220. It has kinematic viscosity at temp. 40°C within the range of 240-275 cSt and is characterised by high viscosity index: VI~200.
Rokolub® 220VI has high temperature of ignition, which equals 250⁰C. It is used as a base oil of the PAG type included in group V to manufacture synthetic lubricants, and also as a finished product. It maintains fluidity in temperature below -30°C which allows obtaining good low-temperature properties. Owing to this the product is all-weather and can be used without temperature-related limitations mainly in such places where anhydrous lubrication systems for machines and mechanical equipment are required.
Main advantages of application of polyol Rokolub® 220VI:
high viscosity index,
excellent lubricating properties – reduced characteristics of wear and tear of materials and increased resistance to high pressures,
allows keeping machines and equipment clean, does not leave oily deposits,
Polyalkylene glycol (PAG), Ethoxylated and propoxylated glycerine.
