Rokolub FR T-46 is an aryl phosphoric acid ester in the form of a colourless to pale yellow liquid. It is characterized by viscosity of the ISO VG 46 grade. The product is a synthetic base oil used as a fire-resistant hydraulic fluid type HFDR according to ISO 6743-4. It is characterized by high fire resistance and self-extinguishing ability, which allows it to be used in devices operating in fire hazard zones.
Its extraordinary properties let you stay safe in an emergency. Rokolub FR T-46 does not pose a fire hazard even in such extreme situations as direct contact with fire or the surface of hot metal at a temperature above 700°C. In addition, resistance to high temperatures makes phosphate esters the only possible choice in many applications. An additional advantage of Rokolub FR T-46 is that it is not classified as a threat to human health, which ensures the safety of people operating the equipment.
Fire resistant hydraulic fluids based on organophosphate in comparison to available solutions (including those based on mineral and synthetic oils of the PAG and POE type) are characterized by the highest temperature resistance and the best fire resistance. Flash point of this product group is above 240°C, the combustion temperature above 300°C. The results of fire resistance tests, such as Manifold Ignition, Spray Ignition and Wick Flame Persistence, are also at excellent levels, which undoubtedly confirms the unique properties of the product.
Rokolub FR T-46 meets the key requirements for hydraulic fluids. It is characterized by good lubricating properties, which is confirmed by the results of the four-ball test. In addition, low water content (below 0.1% m/m) and low acid value (below 0.1 mgKOH/g) ensure good hydrolytic stability of the product. Oxidation stability is also at a very good level.
Fir resistant HFDR hydraulic fluids are successfully used in the energy, metallurgy and mining industries. Rokolub FR T-46 is intended for devices operating in fire hazard zones and exposed to contact with hot surfaces (including power plants, steel and aluminum casting process).
