Rokolub FR T-68 is an organophosphater in the form of a colourless to pale yellow liquid. It is characterized by a viscosity of ISO VG 68 grade. The product is a fire resistant synthetic base oil that forms the basis for industrial hydraulic fluids. It is classified as HFDR (anhydrous, fire resistant hydraulic fluid based on phosphate esters) according to ISO 6743-4.
High fire resistance and unique self-extinguishing capabilities make Rokolub FR T-68 an ideal solution for devices exposed to fire. Thanks to its use, the risk of fire is reduced and safety in emergency situations is preserved. An additional advantage of the Rokolub FR T-68 is its non-classification as a threat to human health, which ensures the safety of users of the device.
Fire resistant hydraulic fluids based on organophosphate in comparison to available solutions are characterized by the highest temperature resistance and the best fire resistance. Flash point of this product group is above 240°C and the burning temperature even above 300°C, which confirms the exceptional properties of these products. Their high fire resistance is confirmed by test results such as Manifold Ignition, Spray Ignition and Wick Flame Persistence. Thanks to the mentioned properties, phosphate esters are often the only possible choice in many applications.
Rokolub FR T-68 meets the key requirements for hydraulic fluids. It has good lubricating properties, which are confirmed by, among others the four-ball test results. The oxidation stability of the product is also very good. In turn, the hydrolytic stability of the product is ensured by the low water content (below 0.1% m/m) and the low acid value (below 0.1 mgKOH/g).
Fire resistant HFDR hydraulic fluids are successfully used in the power generation, metallurgy and mining industries. Rokolub FR T-68 is intended for devices operating in fire hazard zones and exposed to contact with hot surfaces (including power plants, steel and aluminium casting process).
