ROKAmer 2000S belongs to the group of non-ionic block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide (ROKAmers). ROKAmer 2000 is designed for products with low and anti-foaming properties. It is dedicated for use in professional detergents for institutional and industrial cleaning as well as for some industrial processes.
The product is a cloudy liquid with a low pour point (below -20°C) and with an active substance content of about 100%. ROKAmer 2000S water solutions below room temperature are clear and turbid at 23-27°C.
The product is a high molecular weight polymer with a specific, bifunctional structure, which means it has two hydrophilic groups. This feature distinguishes the ROKAmers group from other nonionic surfactants and determines their properties.
The product has moderate hydrophobicity, good degreasing properties and wetting hard surfaces. This makes it used, among others, as a component of professional dishwashing chemicals, formulas for industrial bottle washing and metal degreasing preparations.
ROKAmer 2000 is used in Clean in Place systems, e.g., as a component of cleaning formulations in breweries. Thanks to its anti-foaming properties, already achieved at low temperature, it causes a decrease in the foaming of washing baths, also in the presence of proteins or starch. ROKAmer 2000S is a product resistant to hard water, dedicated to neutral or slightly alkaline formulations.
Safe product, not classified according to the CLP/GHS Regulation.
Block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, EO / PO block copolymer, PEG / PPG copolymer, propoxylated polyethylene glycol, Block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, CAS 9003-11-6.
