Roksol CCP/CONC. is a frost-resistant, concentrated product that decreases the freezing point of industrial preparations. It is also used as a cooling medium. It takes the form of a clear or slightly turbid blue liquid. The concentrated product has a very low freezing point, i.e. below -55°C.
Depending on the amount of water added to the product, a solution with the desired solidification point can be obtained. In addition to its water solubility, Roksol CCP/CONC. is also highly soluble in alcohols and glycols. It does not cause corrosion of equipment and installations, as it contains carefully selected corrosion inhibitors. These features facilitate transport, storage and handling of this product under process conditions.
Thanks to the above mentioned properties, the product is used in extinguishing agents with reduced solidification point, as an agent against freezing of coal and dust heaps, as a component of cooler fluids or concrete admixtures. It is also used in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, solar systems and heat pumps. It can be used as a coolant in closed systems, e.g. in the food industry.
