SULFOBURSZTYNAN L3/40 is an anionic surfactant (INCI name: Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate.) The product is a light yellow to yellow liquid and contains 40% active substance. It has excellent washing properties, generates effective foam and is gentle on the skin and eyes.
Reduces the skin-irritating effect of SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) in body and hair washing formulations. It also improves the quality of foam in mixtures with anionic and non-ionic compounds. It may be incorporated in both SLES and SLES-free preparations.
Due to its ability to reduce the irritant effect of other anionic surfactants, it can be used as a component of personal hygiene products for children. SULFOBURSZTYNIAN L3/40 is suitable for use in products for sensitive skin as its molecular size prevents penetration of surfactant into the skin. It has hydrotropic properties, thanks to which it stabilizes the formula and gives it a clear, transparent consistency. In addition, he is a calcium soap dispersant.
The product is widely used in rinseable body and hair cosmetics, as a component of shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps, face tonics. It is also used in hair sprays, hair straightening products and colouring shampoos where it reduces the effect of darkening hair after colouring. Its gentle effect on the skin makes it also recommended for use in dishwashing liquids and other hand washing detergents.
