ROKAmer 1010/50 belongs to the group of non-ionic block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide (ROKAmers). The product has a content of about 50% of the active substance and has the form of a clear, light yellow liquid. ROKAmer 1010/50 has a very high cloud point in water, which means that it forms clear solutions even in very hot water, i.e. up to 100°C. The solidification point of the product is below -5°C.
The product is a high molecular weight polymer with a specific bifunctional structure, which means it has two hydrophilic groups. This feature distinguishes the ROKAmer group from other non-ionic surfactants and determines their properties. ROKAmer 1010/50 is characterized by the highest hydrophilicity among the entire ROKAmer group.
Due to its high hydrophilicity and specific structure, ROKAmer 1010/50 is mainly used as an emulsifier for polyethylene waxes. Emulsion type products created with its addition are used in the paint and varnish industry.
Safe product, not classified according to the CLP/GHS Regulation.
