Rokopol® F3000 is a polyether polyol produced in the KOH technology. It exists in the form of homogeneous, clear liquid. It contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). It has hydroxyl value within the range of 53-59 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity within the range of 460-520 mPas at temp. 25°C.
Rokopol® F3000 is used for production of flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous system (slabstock) or for periodic production (batch). Using the polyol, flame retardants (liquid and solid) and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), blocks of flame-retardant flexible foam with rectangular cross-section and height up to 130 cm can be produced.
Main advantages of application of Rokopol® F3000:
possibility to manufacture block flame retardant foams of density within the range 23-80 kg/m3, hardness within the range 2-5kPa, and elasticity up to 45%,
tear resistance of the foam is above 60kPa and relative elongation at rupture up to 90%,
possibility to use the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to decrease foam hardness or to optimize foam openness and to extend relative elongation at rupture,
foams with good flame retarding parameters.
