Rozin 2M is a resin filling agent for chrome tanned leather. The product is a viscous yellow liquid. Rozin 2M solutions can be mixed in a bath with most of the additives used in wet finishing processes, i.e. synthetic tanning agents, dispersants, resins and fillers, and anionic fats. At a pH of less than 5,5, mixing with these substances may result in opalization or the formation of a precipitate.
Rozin 2M is characterized by the ability to provide leather with a smooth and tight grain as well as filling the side parts of the skins. It facilitates leather buffing process, and due to its weak equalising effect, it enables obtaining desired colours. Moreover, it does not increase the stiffness of the leather.
Rozin 2M is used to fill all types of chrome tanned leather, especially leather used for exterior part of a shoe, finished with preservation of the natural grain layer. The product is used in the processes of retanning and anionic filling of leather in the amount of 4-12% depending on the type and required degree of filling. In special cases, when very intensive colour of chrome tanned leather is required, Rozin 2M may be used for filling only during the greasing phase.
