ABSNa 30 is 30% sodium alkylbenzenesulphonic acid salt and belongs to the group of anionic surfactants. This product is in the form of a clear or turbid liquid of low colour. In comparison with a similar product - ABSNa 30 - the product maintains a liquid form with low viscosity at room temperature, which significantly facilitates its dosing, pumping and has a positive effect on product stability also in winter.
The product is mainly used as an ingredient in liquid cleaning and washing agents. ABSNa 30 has high foaming, wetting, emulsifying, dispersing and detergency properties. In comparison to sulphated alcohols, ABSNa 30 has resistance to hydrolysis. Thanks to these properties, the product is used in numerous industrial applications.
ABSNa 30 is dedicated both to removing dyes from dyeing baths in textile processes, as well as to activating alumina during the production of autoclaved aerated concrete. This product is one of the key components of aeration admixtures for concrete and cement mortars.
In addition, ABSNa 30 works well as an emulsion polymerization emulsifier in the production of styrene-acrylic dispersions and styrene-butadiene latexes. Additionally, it can be used for the production of acrylic dispersions, as well as homo- and copolymers of vinyl acetate.
As a detergent it is used in car shampoos.
The surfactant is biodegradable and complies with the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No.648 / 2004 on detergents.
